Sparkling bead and sequin wedding dress for a New Years eve wedding
A beautifully shaped and moulded sparkling wedding gown for a New Years Eve wedding at Kingston Estate in Devon.
A simple, chic silhouette with. a perfectly shaped scoop neckline leading into pointed wings. The bodice is sculpted to the body with a back as low as a corset style may allow.
A slim shaped skirt, with subtle flow and a split to the font of the skirt to ensure that the beautiful green Terry De Havviland shoes are appreciated. The train is not too long as Hannah, the bride is all about dancing.
The wedding dress silhouette is minimalist, but the fabric is the showstopper. A tulle embellished with glass beads and paiette sequins, lined with a white silk satin.
The sleeves are sectioned into 3 gathered ‘puffs’ with a slim cuff wrapped with ribbon and a silk bow, and long gathered cuffs. Silk tulle gave us the perfect gathered texture without being too large and puffy.
While this was a detail that Hannah originally requested, we later decided that these should be a removable feature aa Hannah wanted to simplify the look into a strapless, sleeveless dress.
I loved the sleeve addition so much, I encouraged Hannah to try out both options on the wedding day,
We also created a simple blusher style veil in a glitter speckled tulle to match the sparkle-factor of the dress.
