Gold Fusion Wedding Dress

Is it possible to have too many gorgeous pictures of one stunning couple? I think not! If you feel you need to see more, (which is highly likely) please see them on Photographer, Kat Hill’s Blog

I loved my meetings with Caesara while we discussed her wedding dress, she is so amazingly chilled, we had a good old natter. (It’s so important to connect with the people who you work so closely with, on such a personal and special item).

Caesara wished for a gold embroidered dress, with elements from her Pakistani heritage.

The dress has a gold silk slip with a delicate lace edging, and gold tulle backless over-dress with long sleeves.
The tulle was an amazing find, which has a metallic gold threads running through all over.
I sourced three different designs of gold laces, each with a different design and texture of metallic threads, chording, beads and pearls, from which each lace motif was carefully cut out, and appliqued to the tulle over-dress to compliment Caesara’s figure.

I made a statement belt using a gold chain-mail style mesh, and embroidered cut-outs from sequined Saree’s, Gold sequined Lace, Swarovski Cosmic crystals in silver and gold and pieces of traditional Pakistani mirror-embroidery, which had been cut from a contemporary saree design and coated in a gold foil, which gave the original traditional embroidery a metallic finish, but left the mirror exposed.

I’m so thrilled to see these beautiful pictures from photographer Kat Hill, and know that Caesara and James’ day was just as beautiful as they deserved!
