Timeless Modern Dress for a Kew Gardens Wedding

Fei is a lover of fresh and classic beauty, pretty and soft details. For her wedding dress Fei wanted a fitted dress, that was skimming enough to show her shape (but that was comfortable enough for eating and unlimited dancing!!), that would flare and fall softly and layers of tulle.

The bodice was made to have a fitted silk camisole, with a tulle overlay that was embroidered with both Chantilly and chorded lace, beaded with glass beads and scattered with pearls.

The denser lace embroidery spilled onto the hips, giving a more fitted shape before fading out organically into the soft tulle skirts where lace vines and leaves were hidden amongst the tulle for a pretty scattered effect.

The waist was finished with a chain of crystals, overlaid with chiffon daisies to soften the sparkle of the crystals.

Fei married at Cambridge Cottage within the grounds of Kew Gardens (swoon!!), it rained - but it was still such a beautiful day! - and as Fei told me, it's extra good luck because a wet knot is harder to untie!
