Chiffon wedding dress with hidden embroidered details

I love creating bespoke embroideries for my wedding dress designs. There’s so much fun to be had, thinking of stories, researching to find meaningful elements to add to the dress. For Ella we chose summer flowers native to the British Isles, and more particular, Cornwall where Ella grew up, and where she got married.

The embroidery features subtle white threads on porcelain chiffon, which is very intriguing and invites exploration to find and admire all the details.

The wedding dress silhouette is simple and chic, with some flow in the skirt. I think often, a simple silhouette can be overlooked. Obviously when choosing your wedding dress you want for it to have magic, but there is equal magic in understated elegance. Of course, for Ella we added extra magic in the embroidery details.

We did however decide on a fairly daring split at the front of the skirt to add some additional wow factor, and to show off Ella’s Jimmy Choo, shoes for who she works.

The short capped sleeves of the wedding dress are embroidered with the date of the wedding, and a sprinkling of golden star sequins all over.
