Amazing Bridal Veil Styles

Bespoke bridal veils created by Wilden London to perfectly compliment your wedding day look, in style, texture and detail.

A beautiful bridal veil adds to the whimsical romance of your wedding day look, and a must-have item according to photographers to creating those dreamy bridal portraits.

A veil should compliment your bridal dress, as well as be a length in proportion with the brides height. A long and sweeping Veil can add temporary drama if you’ve decided on a shorter length train for your dress, and a classic long length veil always looks good. Shorter lengths are sometimes a bolder choice, in the sense that - you need to get the length just right, but they’re just as chic, and with guidance we can get it just right together.

Lace Embroidered Veil

My preferred method for lace embroidered veils is an organic approach where the lace is positioned in vines as if growing and draping and falling quite naturally, framing the face often asymmetrically. I often avoid the match match look instead looking for an appliqué in contrast to the design of the wedding dress.

Opulent Beaded Lace Veil

Ok, sometimes I break my own rules - which goes to show, there should never be rules. This Gold and Sparkling lace dress is sheer, and the Veil needed a hard border of (matching) gold lace trim heavily encrusted with sequins and crystals, to make its presence known.

Pearl Studded Veils and Star Speckled Veils

Same idea, different bead.Pearls are a classic choice for bridal, but studded onto a veil creates a chic and modern bridal look.
Star sequins are a little more fun, speckled in shades of gold, silver or white, catch the light and sparkle very prettily. Swarovski crystals can be added too for extra sparkle, but I prefer hot fix as clasped crystals can cause puckers on the delicate veil tulle.

Floral Bridal Veil

A floral Veil can be subtle, adding a scattering of tiny silk flowers, or boldly embroidered with a whole meadow of silk flowers at the hem (photo coming soon).

Minimal Bridal Veil

Let the veil speak for itself, it is light and whimsical, beautiful and texture and flow. Works with any style of wedding dress. Simple.

Coloured Bridal Veil

If your dress is not white - I have designed many Gold Wedding Dresses - consider a gold toned veil to avoid a stark contrast between the wedding dress and the veil.

Short Bridal Veil

A short Bridal veil can be really fun and chic. For Shoulder length veils, I recommend to add volume and texture, and for mid-length - think knee length, a beautiful almond shaped cut, and add some embroidery too for extra impact.

Antique Bridal Veil

Some brides are lucky enough to have exquisite vintage or antique lace veils passed to them to wear for their wedding day. I have made dresses which are designed around the veil - choosing the right colour silks to create a dress to match the veil, which is sometimes discoloured with age - but still beautiful. I have also added removable trains so that the lace veil is better complimented against a fabric, rather than on the ground.
I have also created extensions for a veil, where the veil is too small, or not quite suiting the style of the chosen wedding dress design. The original lace veil is embroidered delicately onto a fresh tulle veil, and blended with additional antique lace and embroidery.
